Karen Fernandez has been as Esthetician here on the peninsula for 17 years. After graduating from CSU, Chico with a degree in Communications and a successful three years in the high tech industry, she made the decision to follow her passion for skin care.
Her studies included a completed degree program in San Francisco, special studies in Germany and a small specialized skin salon in downtown Palo Alto.
In 1992 an opportunity presented itself for Karen to combine her love of healthy living with natural skin care products and procedures with a prominent sports resort in Redwood Shores.

After 16 successful years, Karen has recently moved to the award winning salon, Skin Spirit, in order to combine her deep knowledge of skin care with advanced medical technology.
Skin Spirit, located in downtown Palo Alto, owned by Dr. M. Dean Vistnes, will provide the latest, most researched medical grade products and procedures.
