Here are some great tips for redecorating this Spring!

1. Pick good colors

Create depth and eye catching interest with different shades and hues of your current favorite colors. Or, you can always revert to the color wheel and select colors that truly compliment each other. It’s also great and easy to pull minor accent colors from larger pieces or furniture with pillows and and accessories; doing so will also give the room a new look for less!

2. Recover!

Acquiring new pillows doesn’t have put you on a pillow form shopping spree! We can re-cover your old pillows with new fabrics and trims! Adding a zipper will allow an easy color change for the next season.

3. Let in the light!

Switch out heavy drapes and drab colors for lighter window treatments. Nothing can make a room feel fresher than open windows and flowing window treatments in sheer fabrics or sunny colors.

4. It’s all in the details

Don’t neglect your tables! Pull your decor’s look together with coordinating napkins, table runners, and linens. Often times, the kitchen or dining room can be easily pushed aside when it comes to soft furnishings. (Poor rooms!) Give them some attention too with coordinating treatments!

5. Flower picking

Spring and flowers go hand-in-hand for a reason, and often represent new growth and a fresh start. If you can’t keep up with fresh flowers in your home, floral printed fabrics can be your best friend! After all, you don’t have to water your couch.
